NHS Takes Over Times Square to Kickoff NeighborWorks® Week 2010The staff, board members and volunteers of NHS will take over Times Square on Friday June 4th to raise awareness about loan modification scams and to kickoff National NeighborWorks® Week, a weeklong celebration of the accomplishments of the NeighborWorks® network. This year, all NHS NeighborWorks® Week events will feature the Loan Modification Scam Alert Campaign. Loan Modification Scams are a growing problem across the country: Homeowners facing foreclosure are losing their money – and their homes – to loan modification scams. NHS provides homeowners with free loan modification assistance as a part of our comprehensive foreclosure prevention counseling program.
