Description

NHS of East Flatbush is offering a ten-week home maintenance and repair course to homeowners and non-homeowners alike interested in improving their homes.

This comprehensive ten-week beginner course is designed to provide hands-on training in most aspects of home repair and maintenance including:

Basic Carpentry, Plumbing & Electrical
Flooring, Tile & Wall Finishes
Exterior Repairs and Waterproofing
How to Select and Manage Contractors
An Energy Efficiency Approach to Home Maintenance
Work Safety and much more.

Registration is based on a first-come-first-served basis. Participants must be at least 18, or going on their 18th birthday the year they take the class. No prior knowledge of home repair is necessary.
