Description

NHS of Bedford-Stuyvesant, Inc. is offering a ten-week home maintenance training and repair course to residents interested in learning the basics of home repair.

The comprehensive ten-week course is designed to provide hands-on training in several areas of home repair and maintenance including, but not limited to:

Basic Carpentry, Plumbing & Electrical
Flooring, Tile & Wall Finishes
Exterior Repairs and Waterproofing
Energy Efficiency
Work Safety and much more.

This course is open to homeowners, homebuyers, renters and do-it-yourselfers. No prior knowledge of home repair is necessary

Registration is based on a first-come-first-served basis. Participants must be at least 18, or going on their 18th birthday, the year they take the class.
