Your home will probably be one of the most valuable assets you will own. The Home Maintenance Training Course (HMT) will provide you with the skills and knowledge to help keep your home in top condition. This comprehensive 10-week course is designed to provide hands-on training in most phases of home repair and maintenance. Students will learn plumbing, electrical, carpentry, tiling, masonry repairs and much more. Classes are held twice a year, normally the second to third week of February and September; beginners and advanced classes are available. Students must be at least 18 years of age or going on 18 the year they register for the course. Students with no home repair experience are especially welcomed.

The fee for the course is $150.
