Free monies can certainly ease the burden of getting repairs done.  From time to time, NHESF may be awarded grants from the City and the State of New York or from private donors and foundations to help homeowners maintain, address safety issues or make their homes more energy efficient.

Usually guidelines such as household income, property location, age, and type of improvement may apply.
