Attorney General approves 320 Sterling Co-ops PDF Print E-mail

The office of the Attorney General of New York State has approved the offering plan in September to convert the 100-plus rental unit, located at 320 Sterling Street in Crown Height Brooklyn, to a co-op development.

This move provides the green light to establish a co-op board and sell the remaining 50 one-bedroom apartments to the public.  Buyers who make $55,000 or less  are eligible to purchase the units at $90,000 with city subsidy.  Those ineligible for the subsidy can purchase the unit at a slightly higher price.  Preferences are given to residents living in Community Board 9.    The Urban Homestead Assistance Board (UHAB) and the NYC Housing Partnership Development Fund are joint managers of the building.

Neighborhood Housing Services of East Flatbush is maintaining a list of prospective buyers.  If you're interested in applying for 320 Sterling or for more information on upcoming Informational seminars and Open Houses, call 718-469-4679 or download an application:
