Neighborhood Housing Services of East Flatbush (NHSEF) is a community-based not for profit housing organization founded in 1982. NHSEF is locally led and mission driven. Our board is comprised of residents, business leaders and civic minded persons. Through financial education and affordable lending, NHSEF enables individuals and families to invest in, preserve and improve their Neighborhoods, their Homes and their Future. In addition to providing services to East Flatbush and the surrounding neighborhoods in Brooklyn, NHSEF is a part of Neighborhood Housing Services of New York City (NHSNYC), a citywide organization with offices in every borough. NHSNYC is a chartered member of NeighborWorks America®, a national network of over 230 community-based organizations in all 50 states.
